The pieces featured are all original artwork, giclee fine art reproductions can be ordered for either paper or canvas as well as a variety of specialty surfaces TBD, let me know what you are looking for. Pricing stated is for the artwork only, shipping and handling will be arranged upon purchase based on the piece and destination location and added to the final amount. You can pick up the artwork at my studio or I can deliver within a 25 mile radius of my home at no charge, for any further distance, there will be a delivery charge. About this work:
I believe my artwork is amazing no matter what date I painted it… and I realize that others may not hold the same opinion. That some will want only recent work as they feel that is where I am now. Which I can’t argue…however, I wish to propose a possible perspective from which to view all my work, whether it’s older or newest….
The neat thing about how I process is that, well, I love to keep looking at my own work, and it inspires me and I find I pick up parts here and there and add to my current series, so you might see Mystical Druids in the Spiral Series (in fact, I’m doing one now!) … like continuing the energy, building it into the new work. So, it’s all one big series in reality… right? Oh, okay maybe a stretch in thinking… however, it ALL is the main overall “Series of Artist Karrie Ross’ Life and Loves”… so maybe not too big a stretch.
And, not everyone is in the place of where my new work might take them… into their current energy… or remembering past energy… or the questions the work poses might not resonate … and they will prefer my older work. I’ve showed enough to know this is true, especially when someone actually says to me … “I liked your (fill in here) series better.”
So, just like I encourage you to purchase based on whatever you’ve decided is the reason you’ll buy is… whether its… for future financial gain or you love the piece and “just have to have it” in your life or the colors will work perfectly in your home decor… I invite you to not worry so much about the darn date. We have enough “things” that stop us in life. Please don’t make buying art you’d like to own based on a date one of them, you might miss out on a great experience.
I’ll do my best to mark the work with the year painted… but I might be amiss in remembering exactly, most are noted on the back of the canvas or paper once you receive the piece.
Pricing: The paintings you’ll find listed here I feel really great about or I wouldn’t show them and their pricing is pretty standardized. There may be a few pieces that will be a little off the norm… = please contact me for pricing.
Copyright: All my work is filed with the US Copyright office and is copyright ©Karrie Ross and even though you purchase the original artwork, all rights of reproduction and display are reserved by the artist. If you wish to use the art in any way, a signed written approval is necessary from the artist… Karrie Ross or her estate and proper credit is to be given. Please contact me if you have any questions. You will receive a certificate of authenticity with your artwork or print.
