Introduction audio as read by Karrie Ross.

Karrie Ross, native to Los Angeles, fine artist, shares her explorations into concepts of energy, science, participation, conversations and being seen, as the underlying influences of her art.

Metaphorical representations that create a ‘safe’ place for the viewer to experience a flow and connection from their interaction with the art… discovering that they are part of a bigger whole. She poses to you a question…

“What is YOUR energy telling the world?”

and invites you to join with, and experience hers in the art she creates.

My work is driven by my personal energy. My passions and desires.

I am particularly drawn to spirals, not only in shape but in the concept of the continuous movement of energy. At the inner-most workings of the atom is a vibration… THAT is what is the source… our generator of personal energy, all that we are.

I’m driven to ask questions, the child-like “WHY?” and tend to assign names to my work in the form of questions and statements… which are actions and actions are energy directed.

Bringing science and art together in concept and form is what I’m working on with this series. I believe that my work keeps vibrating my energy through the strokes and spirals and this energy fills the room where the painting is placed.

Have you ever viewed a piece of art and are strangely uncontrollably attracted to it… and wondered why? My belief is that the two energies, yours and the art, either vibrate at a similar frequency creating a feeling of calm and safety
OR
the two energies vibrate at different frequencies one in which the art vibrates to stimulate the viewer to action. Either way it’s a win/win for the viewer… the art lives for them.

This energy vibration is me, my focus, my passion…
and it’s shared with you in my art.
